No. The processing power and neural network is hosted online, and there is not an offline solution. This also ensures that the knowledge encapsulated in it is always up to date. 

Signia cannot trace any personal information at all. The whole system is 100% anonymized, and only big group data is analyzed; no individual data is collected. This is extremely important and the basis for the whole system. We couldn’t have such a system if anything was traceable. Our “Privacy Policy” is displayed in the App (Settings->Imprint->Privacy policy).

My WellBeing is a collection of four new features (My Steps, My Activity, My WearTime, My Conversations) that form a valuable tool to encourage hearing aid wearers to use their hearing aids consistently and keep track of health indicators regarding their physical activity.

Hearing aid wearers can view their My WellBeing insights quickly and easily in the Signia app. Because privacy is important, all My WellBeing information is only visible in the Signia app and is not stored anywhere else. 

My Steps lets hearing aid wearers see how many steps they take each day.

My Activity shows them how active they are, detecting movements from light housekeeping to strenuous exercise. Both My Steps and My Activity are enabled by the motion sensor in Signia AX hearing aids.

My WearTime lets wearers see how consistently they are using their hearing aids.

My Conversations shows hearing aid wearers how much they are interacting socially with others and is enabled by Signia's unique Own Voice Processing 2.0 technology. 

My WellBeing is available for all Signia 7AX, 5AX, and 3AX hearing aids,* and insights can be viewed in the most current version of the Signia app.

The data of your practice as well as clients are completely safe. We have multiple certifications and are in conformity with General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union. Moreover, the Telecare Portal is TRUSTe- certified. Sivantos has no access to your personal data.

The TeleCare Portal and all data related to it is stored on servers provided by Microsoft Azure. Access to these systems is highly restricted and controlled. Any access is logged and documented for audit purposes. Communication between HCP browser sessions or patient devices and the web servers is also secured and encrypted (with HTTPS).

We are providing the highest data security and privacy. All data and all communication between the TeleCare Portal and the app on your client’s smartphone are encrypted. Access to the TeleCare Portal is protected by a password for every employee in your practice. You and your clients can be fully confident about data security.

The Signia Active charger doubles as a fully closable and portable storage case. It contains a lithium ion rechargeable battery to keep your Signia Active devices topped-up with charge when you're on the go. The Signia Active charger can itself be recharged either with a USB-C cable or via Qi wireless charging technology. If you get a phone call while you are streaming music, then you will hear the ringtone of the phone call and the music streaming will be paused automatically. As soon as the call has ended, the music streaming continues from the point where it has been paused.

In order to be able to stream from another StreamLine TV at home, you have to re-pair your hearing aids with it (turn the hearing aids off and on – by opening and closing the battery door -, put your hearing aids onto the top side of the StreamLine TV and wait for app. 30 seconds).

StreamLine TV can be used without the Signia app.

In order to activate the TV Stream directly from the Nx Hearing Aids, please follow this workflow in Connexx:

If you fit any Nx instrument and you go to “Configuration” in Connexx you can set the Rocker Switch to “TV Stream” which automatically connects the hearing aid to the StreamLine TV.
