Apple devices

Signia hearing aids with MFi (made for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) capability can connect directly to your iPhone, iPad or iPod so that you can stream your phone calls and music directly to your hearing aids. Signia Integrated Xperience (IX) and Augmented Xperience (AX) hearing aids with MFi can also connect to compatible Apple computers.

Please ensure you use the latest version of iOS/iPadOS/macOS that is available for your Apple device (how to update your Apple device).

In addition to direct audio streaming, the following Apple mobile devices are also enabled for hands-free calling with compatible Signia IX and AX hearing aids:

Android devices

Signia IX hearing aids with Bluetooth LE Audio compatibility enable direct streaming and hands-free calling from Android devices via the Bluetooth LE Audio standard. 

Phones with LE Audio compatibility that have been tested with Signia IX hearing aids are listed below with the tested OS version.  Note that compatibility can change with OS and security patch updates.

Signia Integrated Xperience (IX) and Augmented Xperience (AX) hearing aids with ASHA compatibility enable direct streaming from Android devices via the ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) standard.
